Create blank document

Opens a new empty drawing file.

To set your preferred scale, units, and other basic settings for blank documents, open the Blank (Imperial).sta or Blank (Metric).sta file from the template list. Edit the settings, and then resave the template with the same name, as described in Creating templates. Leave this template empty other than the most basic scale and units settings, as this is the only way to open a blank document.
