Deleting plant styles

When a plant style resource is deleted, all instances of the style in the current document can be deleted completely, replaced with loci to preserve the plant locations, or replaced with a different plant style.

1. From the Resource Manager, right-click on the resource, and select Delete from the context menu. Alternatively, select the resource and press the Delete key.

2. If there are any instances of the plant style currently in the drawing, the Delete Plant dialog box opens.

Parameter	Description
Delete Plant completely	Deletes all instances of the plant style in the drawing
Delete and replace Plant Instances with Loci	Deletes all instances of the plant style in the drawing and replaces them with loci
Delete and replace Plant Instances with	Deletes all instances of the plant style in the drawing and replaces them with the plant style selected from the plant list.
Plant list	Select the replacement plant style. The files and folders available in the current document and in the libraries are listed on the left. Select a file to display thumbnails of the plant styles available in that location, and select the desired plant style.
Always delete Plant Instances completely/delete and replace Plant Instances with Loci	When Delete Plant completely or Delete and replace Plant Instances with Loci is selected, select whether to always perform that action when deleting a plant style

The plant style resource is deleted and each plant instance is either deleted or replaced with a locus or the selected plant style.
